Message	video quality and last forever, but be cautious of the new web hd cameras that are so cheap every where, they will not last as long and have almost 0 features. For driving in car footage image stabilization is a must! and optical zoom is better then digital. just read through the reviews on BestBuy.com and find one you like. I would recomend the sony hdrcx100 which has a solid state 8gb internal memory and will let you add in another memory card to increase that. also has optical image stabilization which is the best in my opinion. but if you wanna go all out get the hdrcx500v with 32gigs and 12meg still camera.
